When do you meet ?We meet every Saturday at 5 PM in Room 427, Engineering Research Center(ERC) on West Campus in University of Cincinnati.Can I just attend a meeting and see what goes on ?Yes, you are highly welcome to be our guest and take a look at what goes on in the meetings.I have another appointment during the meeting time. Can I help AID-Cincinnati in other ways ?Yes, if for some reason you cannot attend the meetings, you can still contribute to AID in other ways. Send a mail to aid2@email.uc.edu to know of other ways to help AID.What if I am not able to attend all the meetings ?No problem. AID is a totally voluntary organization and we understand that you have other appointments.
How does AID-Cincinnati work ?An non-governmental organization in India sends a proposal to AID about their project with an estimate of the funds required. We, at AID-Cincinnati discuss and analyze the proposal in detail. If a majority of the members approve the proposal, then the project is funded.Where does AID-Cincinnati get funds from ?AID-Cincinnati gets funds to support projects in India mainly through fund-raising drives in Cincinnati (like Harmony, classical dances, music concerts, credit card sign ups) and through selling Kroger gift certificates, kurtas, calendars etc.. A significant contribution to the AID-Cincinnati funds is also made by the many generous personal donors.What kind of projects does AID-Cincinnati support ?AID-Cincinnati supports and has supported a variety of development projects in India.
