Association for India’s Development is a volunteer movement promoting sustainable, equitable and just development. AID supports grassroots organizations in India and initiates efforts in various interconnected spheres such as education, livelihoods, natural resources including land, water and energy, agriculture, health, women’s empowerment and social justice.
AID Cincinnati, the Cincinnati chapter of Association for India’s Development was started in 1997 and apart from supporting sustainable development projects in India, AID Cincinnati also promotes diversity and harmony among Cincinnati residents.
AID Cincinnati is a student organization registered with University of Cincinnati. For more than a decade now, University of Cincinnati students have had the chance the catch a glimpse of diverse cultures from across the globe at AID Cincinnati hosted events. Additionally, AID Cincinnati also provides students an opportunity to develop their leadership abilities and event management skills, an integral part of the ever demanding corporate world.
AID Cincinnati also has active participation from Cincinnati community members who are part of Multinational Organizations such as Proctor and Gamble, etc.
